Puppies
Preparing to bring your new puppy home can be exciting but it's so important that we plan and prepare in advance to set ourselves and our puppy up for success!
Puppies learn best at a very young age (known as the critical learning period) so what we teach them in their early stages is what they will carry forward with them as they grow up (remember - dogs don't ‘grow out’ of unwanted behaviors so it's best to prevent them from starting).
We recommend starting the training process with your puppy from the moment you get home, and better yet, having a clear plan in place before they arrive. Being confident and happy in your setup, plan, and process will help to make for a puppy that feels safe, settled, and relaxed leading to that all important bond.
Starter Puppy Session
£150.00 (2-2.5 hours)
We meet in the home to discuss everything Puppy! From settling in, sleep patterns, daily routine, toilet training, positive bonding, connection and handling, socialisation, habituation, and understanding how dogs learn.
We also discuss how to conquer those pesky puppy behaviours such as mouthing, chewing, jumping up, and how to positively introduce basic obedience work.
**We find this is most beneficial in the first few weeks of puppy being home.
