Training & Behaviour

Are your dreams of dog ownership and having a canine best friend not quite living up to the reality? Learning to understand our dogs and how best to communicate with them is essential to the human-canine relationship and sometimes, a little help in the language of dog is all that’s needed. Sessions can be both home-based and outdoor-based depending on the nature of the issues, this will be determined in our booking process and based on the enquiry itself.

general Behaviour and training

Whether it’s issues in the home such as destruction of objects, difficulty greeting guests, stealing and counter surfing, resource guarding, separation anxiety, excessive barking, or problems in the garden, we can help.

Outside we can help with issues such as excessive lead pulling and reactivity, recall, engagement to handler, general anti-social or exuberant behaviour, settling in public, and phobias.

We will take a look at the issues at hand, discuss lifestyle and goals, and create a personalised plan working to help you understand your dog and their needs better and provide the tools and techniques to modify behaviour successfully.

  • Get in touch via our submission form, we will send you our basic enquiry form and then will arrange a telephone call to introduce ourselves, run through the process and book your initial session!

  • Your initial behavioural session to observe, assess, and create your tailored plan to begin implementing change - aprox 2.5 hours (£150)

  • Follow-on sessions are available and are tailored to you, your dog, and the behaviour modification plan we decide on - aprox 1.5 hours (£65)

No dog is the same so no plan should be the same!

Ongoing email and WhatsApp support is provided throughout.

Focusing on lifestyle, basic obedience, general training, and dog handling we aim to put into place new techniques and tools to set you on a positive path with your dog.

Covering issues such as hyperactivity, general anxiety and phobias, separation anxiety, reactivity, lead work, recall, focus, impulse control, and general manners.

Working both in the home, and real-life situations and environments, allows for a true picture so we can introduce change and modify behaviour whilst on the go.

Testimonials

I reached out to Kimberley after seeing her on social media and the work she does. I asked for some help with issues I was experiencing with my dog reacting to our neighbours dogs. I had a 3 hour home session recently and i am so thankful I did. Kimberley was amazing with our dog and myself, answering any questions, helping me with another number of small issues we were having in the home too. Kimberley has given me the tools to help my dog live a more settled life in and around the home and I’ve already seen such great improvements. If there’s anything else I need help with I wouldn’t hesitate to book in for another session

Having tried other training methods and trainers, Kimberley’s knowledge intuition and straight forward advice was a breath of fresh air. Saw much improvement in lead walking my 9 month old working cocker spaniel after only one session and planning to book in more to work on recall. Would thoroughly recommend.
